Energy

Process-critical coordination for facilities that never stop.

/Overview
09

Process pipework and MEP, coordinated to plant-safety standards.

Energy and process facilities run on tolerances most building types never have to think about — pressure ratings, process pipework routing, and safety-critical systems that all have to hold across a facility that frequently can't be taken offline for the work happening around it. We bring the same federated-model discipline used on mission-critical builds to process piping and MEP coordination, so every discipline resolves against the plant's actual operating constraints.

Reality capture plays a bigger role here than on most sectors — brownfield energy sites are rarely fully documented, and a registered point cloud of the as-built condition is often the only reliable way to plan a retrofit, tie-in, or expansion without shutting production down to find out what's actually there.

/What Makes This Sector Different

The constraints we design around.

No Downtime for Capture or Design

Process facilities rarely stop running — reality capture and coordination work both have to plan around live operations without interrupting throughput.

Process Pipework Precision

Pipework routing has to respect pressure ratings, material specifications, and process flow requirements that a generic MEP coordination approach won't catch.

Undocumented Brownfield Conditions

Legacy energy sites often have drawings that don't match reality — retrofit or expansion planning needs an accurate as-built baseline before anything else.

Safety-Critical System Coordination

Fire suppression, gas detection, and emergency shutdown systems all have to coordinate cleanly with process pipework and structure, with no tolerance for a routing compromise.

/How We Deliver

One discipline, applied consistently.

Capture Around Live Operations

Reality capture is scheduled entirely around operational windows, with zero disruption to production.

Model Process & Structure

An as-built model at LOD 300+ covers structure, MEP, process pipework, and equipment.

Coordinate Safety-Critical Systems

Fire suppression, gas detection, and emergency shutdown are coordinated against process pipework and structure.

Enable Retrofit Planning

The verified as-built baseline lets tie-in, retrofit, or expansion work be planned without a second site visit.

/Why Neutec

What sets this apart.

Process facilities don't get downtime for discovery work. We plan capture and coordination around a live operation from the start.

Talk to us

Live-facility capture planning

Reality capture is scheduled entirely around operational windows, so production throughput is never interrupted.

Process-aware pipework coordination

Pipework routing is coordinated against pressure ratings and process flow requirements, not treated as generic MEP.

Brownfield-first methodology

Undocumented legacy sites are captured and modelled as-built before any retrofit or expansion design begins.

Safety-system integration

Fire suppression, gas detection, and emergency shutdown systems are coordinated inside the same federated environment as process and structure.
