Industrial

As-built accuracy for facilities nobody can afford to shut down.

/Overview
04

Reality capture that respects a live operation.

Brownfield industrial sites rarely have drawings that match what's actually standing. We capture the as-built condition with terrestrial laser scanning — and UAV photogrammetry where roof structures or high-bay areas are out of reach — producing a registered point cloud accurate to sub-centimetre tolerance, scheduled entirely around active production or 24/7 logistics operations.

From that capture we author an as-built model at LOD 300 covering structure, MEP, process pipework, and equipment — used directly by refurbishment and fit-out teams to plan their scope without a second site visit. For phased refurbishment programmes, the model is structured with attribution aligned to each phase, so every stage designs against the same accurate baseline.

/What Makes This Sector Different

The constraints we design around.

No Reliable As-Built Record

Years of incremental fit-out and equipment change leave original drawings unreliable — the entire as-built record has to be rebuilt from capture data alone. Without an accurate baseline, every downstream design decision carries hidden risk, and clash detection becomes guesswork rather than engineering.

Live Operations Can't Stop

Capture has to be scheduled around active production lines or 24/7 logistics throughput, with zero disruption to operations. This means working in narrow access windows — overnight, between shifts, or in isolated zones — while still achieving the scan density required for a complete, accurate model.

High-Bay and Roof Access

Roof structures and high-bay areas often sit beyond terrestrial scan range, requiring UAV capture integrated into the same registered dataset. Bridging the gap between ground-level and elevated capture without losing registration accuracy is one of the defining technical challenges of industrial survey work.

One Mobilisation, No Gaps

Budget and access windows typically allow a single capture mobilisation — coverage has to be complete enough to plan the entire refurbishment scope first time. A missed zone discovered during design means a costly return visit, delayed programme, and erosion of confidence in the survey process.

/How We Deliver

One discipline, applied consistently.

Talk through your project

Capture the As-Built Condition

Terrestrial and UAV scanning produce a registered point cloud accurate to sub-centimetre tolerance.

Author the As-Built Model

Structure, MEP, process pipework, and equipment are modelled at LOD 300 directly from the capture.

Validate Against Site

The model is checked against the live facility before it's handed to refurbishment teams.

Enable the Next Phase

Attribution is structured so every future phase designs against the same accurate baseline.

/Why Neutec

What sets this apart.

A single missed capture window can mean a second mobilisation nobody budgeted for. We plan for zero return visits from the outset.

Talk to us

Capture around live operations

Scanning is scheduled around shift patterns and production windows, not the other way around.

Integrated terrestrial + UAV capture

High-bay and roof structures are covered by UAV photogrammetry, registered into the same coherent point cloud as the terrestrial scan.

Phase-aligned model attribution

For multi-phase refurbishment programmes, the as-built model is structured so each phase can isolate its own scope without reworking the whole model.

Zero return-visit track record

Every reality-capture engagement is planned to deliver complete coverage in a single mobilisation.

We had zero confidence in our old drawings. Neutec's scan gave us a model we could actually design a refurbishment against, and we never had to send anyone back to site.
